Julie, (Late
20s)
Julie was abused as a child and is a diagnosed
manic depressive. She is very talented as a songwriter and an artist.
She is able to express and release strong emotions in her songs.
Julie can usually keep a firm grip on reality except when under long
periods of stress. When that happens, she tends to get very neurotic and
paranoid. When comfortable and relaxed, Julie is warm and friendly, has a good
sense of humor and smiles often. Julie
can maintain normalcy up to a certain point but, when the pressure gets to a
certain critical mass, Julie shuts down and retreats into her own world. Julie
has blonde hair, very thin and tends to wear flannel shirts and torn jeans with
holes covered in paint from her artistic endeavors.
Dave, (Late
20s)
At the age of 17, Dave was the only one home
when his Father committed suicide. His mother showered him with love and
attention making him a bit of a Mama’s boy. Dave is emotionally stable most of
the time but when he gets depressed for normal reasons as we all do, he tends to
stay depressed for months on end. He was diagnosed as having a chemical
imbalance that does not allow his mood to stabilize after a traumatic or
depressing episode. Dave is a talented songwriter and musician and can play
multiple instruments including keyboards, guitar, and his main instrument
saxophone. Dave is tall, with long dark hair and dresses casually in
jeans and t-shirts. Dave can be
arrogant and blunt at times (specifically when dealing with the band), but he
means well and has a kind heart.
Mark,
(Late 20s)
Mark is a dreamer searching for his dream.
He has a brilliant imagination, but is not very practical.
He has a tendency to shoot for the stars with a wind up airplane and
wonder why he’s stuck in a tree. Mark
loves to party and has devoured women and drugs like they were food and water to
a starving man. This lifestyle has
left him down and out on more than one occasion. Mark is intelligent with very
strong word and communication skills but not a lot of common sense. Mark is a talented guitar player whose tastes tend to lean
towards metal. He wears his short dark blonde hair spiked and dresses with a
little bit of a rock & roll edge. Mark is also a Mama’s boy and has been
one of Dave’s best friends for years.
Elise, (Early
30s)
Elise got married early in life (20) and had
been married for ten years. Recently
divorced, she is enjoying her newfound freedom by hitting the clubs and partying
hard on the weekends. Elise works
hard during the week and is very responsible. Elise is intelligent but stubborn.
She likes to do things her way. She is talented though she has no confidence in
her musical ability. Elise played
violin in high school but had not played (except for a few occasions) since
getting married. Dave who has been a musician most of his life is amazed at how
good Elise’s ear is. Elise has a strong crush on Dave and even though she
doesn’t have faith in her own abilities, she joins the band to be near Dave.
Elise is pretty, with dark blonde hair and shapely.
Matt, (Late
20s)
Matt is good-looking, hard working and
responsible. Matt is a twin and is
used to fighting for his share and for his due. Matt can be narrow minded about
a lot of things. He has to work
hard and be responsible, and he has little patience for people who don’t
subscribe to his lifestyle or morals. Matt at first glance seems very laid back
and easy to get along with, but don’t let that fool you.
He is very stubborn and cunning and will fight tooth and nail to get his
way when it comes down to business. Matt is a talented musician and songwriter.
He is close to his family (parents & siblings), and a
bit of a ladies man.
Amy, (Mid
20s)
Amy is an innocent bleached blonde country
girl. A devout Christian who has led a sheltered
life. Amy’s introduction to 7th floor was also her introduction to
real life. Growing up on a farm,
Amy had not experienced much outside of church and family.
Amy loves playing in the band but does have some conflicts with some of
the band member’s lifestyles. She has a crush on Matt. She was very upset when
Matt was fired and tended to take his side. She was very giving with her time
& money and even purchased a few items of equipment that the band needed.
